This story has been written by FredBrenny in collaboration with Spitzmagic. It's not really a story but a rather humoristic Christmas Carol. I hope you'll enjoy it.

tWas the night before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, cept Freddie and Barb with big open mouths.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes they wouldn't catch fire. So sisters beware!

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of everything but sim-plumbs danced in their heads.

Barb had to hurry and lay out the cookies
While Freddie was sipping the nectar, not something for rookies.

"Freddie!!" Barb shouted "Save some for Santa!"
*Hick-up* said Fred
"He just might think it's Fanta"

Barb in her jammies and Fred in her heels
Just getting ready for a nice simmie nap, as it so feels

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
In startling wonder we hurried to see what was the matter.

We made a dash away to the windows
While in our heads big expectations arose.

When, what to our wondering eyes should appear,
But a big fancy car, an eight cylinder my dear.

Fred looked at Barb and Barb looked at Fred
My goodness could that be St Nick just ahead?

He walked right in, right up to the tree,
AH HA! He did say, is the rest of that bottle for ME??!

He poured him a glass and drank it with glee
Fred and Barb watched him swallow it just like tea.

He was chubby and Plumb, a right jolly old bloke
They laughed when they saw him, Fred told him a joke.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to work
He filled all the stockings then turned with a jerk.

He sprang to his car and looked back as he whistled
Away he then drove, like the down of a thistle.

The girls just heard him exclaim when he drove out of sight:

17

"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
